About IRMA Alumni Association (IAA)

The IRMA Alumni Association (IAA) was founded in 1986 by the first five batches of IRMA, with the objective to further the interests of IRMA Alumni and to serve as an interface between IRMA and its alumni. Sanjoy Nandy (PRM 81-83), S. Ananthanarayana Sharma (PRM 81-83), R.K. Parthasarthy (PRM 82-84), Bharadwaj (PRM 83-85) were the first President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer of the association respectively. The first IAA Constitution was ideated and drafted by Srikant Purkar of the first PRM batch. With these stalwarts at the helm, IAA began engaging alumni through organized activity such as the IRMA Alumni lecture series, availing campus facilities for alumni and networking for newer placement opportunities. The first ever IRMA Alumni Lecture was held on “Task and Sentience in Indian Management”, with late Prof. Pulin Garg as the keynote speaker. It was followed by a panel discussion among an eminent group of panellists from diverse fields.

Today, we are proud to be a three-thousand member strong worldwide network, steering forward the mission of IRMA while working across versatile fields – governance, policy, advocacy, socio-economic development, financial services, sales & marketing, supply chain & logistics among many other diverse fields.

Throughout this website, you will find examples of ways for IRMA alumni to engage with each other and with IRMA. We invite you to explore the many opportunities available, from events on campus or across the globe, to collaborations, to ways to volunteer, connect online or network together.

Most of all, we hope that you will stay involved and stay in touch with your alma mater.
