Prof MS Sriram did his FPM at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B).
He was Faculty at IRMA for almost 7 years, was Vice President in Basix for 2.5 years; was Faculty (Associate Professor 5 years, Professor 3 years and later Chair Professor 2 years) at IIM Ahmedabad. He was also the Chairperson of the Finance and Accounting Area at IIM-A.
Based on his work as faculty at IRMA, he was invited to be a part of the Vaidyanathan Committee for co-operative reform. He continued to play an instrumental role in working with the government in policy making through committee work, consulting, training and public advocacy. Today, he is a recognised authority on financial inclusion
Dr. Kurien, Ela Bhatt and Shashi Rajagopalan have been Prof Sriram’s role models through his inspiring journey.
He believes that diligence, integrity, outspokenness and criticism with arguments and dignity are his mantras of success.
As a young grad fresh out of IRMA, Prof Sriram, took with him values, dreams and cooperative principles.
He wishes to give back to IRMA, by being a good citizen who represents all the values that IRMA inculcated in him and acknowledging the role of IRMA in his making.
