Inviting contributions for the Network magazine
As you are aware, NETWORK is a quarterly publication from IRMA meant to facilitate networking of alumni with IRMA as well as alumni among themselves. In the past, alumni have shared insights from their work experiences, or experiments and lessons from them, which have been very useful for many readers of NETWORK. I am writing this to encourage your contributions further. There are two ways you could share your experiences/news:
A longer piece with about 1,500 words which can also include reflections from work place and models used in your work place, experiences of involving with a particular issue etc.
A shorter piece of about 50 words, which could be news item. It could be sharing the news about achievement, new venture etc.
There are over 3000 readers of NETWORK. The Editor of NETWORK is keen to make it a successful medium for communication. Therefore, please send your contributions to network@irma.ac.in
With warm wishes,
Sony Pellissery
Editor – NETWORK

Sad demise of Prof. R. C. Sekhar
Prof. R.C.Sekhar had a distinguished career in Government and in the corporate sector, prior to joining IRMA. He was an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Services, a qualified cost accountant, (with a a gold medal?), and had served in policy positions in the corporate sector - with the public sector Coal India, and the private sector EMI (the earlier gramaphone company HMV). He joined IRMA in 1983, and was probably the first full time faculty member of IRMA, who had mainstream business management experience( the other faculty at that time being raw FPMs/PhDs or full time academics). We can still hear the booming laugh that he used to punctuate all his sentences with. He was a warm person, ready to share his views without any inhibition.
